Durana Tech Park is Albania’s special economic zone for technology, in Xhafzotaj, between Tirana and Durrës. It offers resident companies tax incentives, access to talent and a supporting ecosystem.

Can we start without setting up an SPV?
Yes. You can start with an IKONS nearshore team and assess an SPV in Durana Tech Park later, when the volume of activity justifies it.
Who can join Durana Tech Park?
The park is open to established technology companies, startups, universities and research centres, provided activities are new or incremental and permitted by the park.
Do we need to relocate staff?
No: the team can be made up of professionals selected in Albania with IKONS’ support, working alongside members of your team when needed.
How long does it take?
The park states no more than 4 weeks from application to contract. Company incorporation and team start-up timelines are planned together during the feasibility phase.
What is IKONS’ role in the SPV?
It depends on the chosen model: support with incorporation and start-up, operational management of the team, or a joint venture stake. We define it together based on your goals.
